Charity Toy Challenge: Can you make a “HORSE of HOPE”?

Partner Events
by Middlesex University, Department of Child Nursing

Riders of Hope is a therapeutic riding program in Bosnia and Herzegovina with non-profit status and they are proud to be the first official Therapeutic Riding Centre in Bosnia & Herzegovina, a country where equine sports & therapy is still in its early stages of development. They are dedicated to using the horse to mentally and physically transform and inspire children.

The toys made will be used within the riding therapy sessions with the children to encourage them to develop physically, mentally & emotionally. If there is enough horses made then there is also a charity within the Czech Republic that does riding therapy with children who have Cerebral Palsy in the same way and some of the horses could then also be sent to this charity as well.

Come and join us in this social event to learn and develop your crafting skills, learn about equine therapy, have fun and engage in charity work

Room CG16: 09:00-12:30 / 13:30-15:00
