Crossed Wires: Language and Mental Health by Natasha Devon MBE

A global conversation has been started on mental health, yet the dialogue is fraught with misunderstanding, misinterpretation and stereotype. Natasha will explore the barriers to communicating about mental health in 2019 and how we can overcome them.

Natasha regularly speaks at Parliament and gives evidence to the Education and Health Select Committees, representing the interests of teenagers and teachers. In 2015 she was awarded an MBE for her services to young people and in 2016 the Sunday Times and Debretts named her one of the 500 most influential people in Britain.

This is a free event, please register to be included on the list.

The event will take place in Professor Stuart Hall Building in LG02 Lecture Theatre.
