Middlesex's Annual Learning and Teaching Conference
The Centre for Academic Practice Enhancement (CAPE) is delighted to share this year’s conference ‘Learning for life – meaningful assessment for the changing world of tomorrow’, which will be held on Friday September 6. With active practice based learning at the heart of Middlesex’s strategy, the conference will explore the diverse and creative ways we facilitate and assess learning.
To begin the day, you will have the opportunity to hear an opening presentation by Professor Tim Blackman, Vice Chancellor of Middlesex University. And we are pleased to announce that the Keynote speakers for our Conference: Amatey Doku, former Vice President Higher Education and Deputy President of the National Union of Students; Professor Gareth Loudon, Professor of Creativity at the Cardiff School of Art and Design, Cardiff Metropolitan University; and Professor Tim Blackman, Vice-Chancellor of Middlesex University. Look at the profiles of our Keynote speakers here. The evening drinks reception will coincide with the farewell reception for Professor Tim Blackman.
Registration for the Annual Learning and Teaching conference will take place from 8.30am in the College Building, at Hendon Campus. The event will start promptly at 9.15am. Morning keynote starts at 9.30 and the afternoon keynote starts at 13:40. See the running order of the day below. Resources will be made available after the event for those unable to attend.
